Co-rapporteurs of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The promotion of a balanced foreign policy represents a priority in the work of the current parliamentary majority, Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii said at a meeting with Head of the Council of Europe’s Office in Chisinau William Massolin, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.       

According to the speaker, the ruling coalition decided that all agreements signed with the foreign partners would be carried out in continuation. At the same time, Grecianii noted that an assessment of the legislative acts would be made for their good enforcement. “Our intension is to implement all good laws which are in the interest of Moldova’s citizens,” the parliament speaker said.   

For his part, the head of the Council of Europe’s Office in Chisinau noted that Moldova’s authorities can rely on the support of the Council of Europe and its institutions.  

The official also said that co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) would visit Moldova this month

Attending the meeting was the head of the parliamentary faction of the Party of Socialists, member of the parliament’s delegation to PACE Vlad Batrincea.
