Ten persons submit applications for candidate of position of head of national anticorruption centre of Moldova

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ – A number of 10 persons filed applications for selection of candidate for position of director of the National Anticorruption Centre (CNA). The deadline for presentation of documents expired on Friday evening, 12 July.
According to contest rule, within three working days of the expiry of the filing deadline, the Commission of legal issues, appointments and immunities shall examine the files in closed session and make their decision on admission to competition.
In this context, MP Sergiu Litvinenco announced that on Monday, 15 July at 11:00, the commission will meet as to decide which of ten candidates will be admitted to competition.
The files of CNA's headquarters will be placed on website of Parliament immediately after the decision of commission on admission to contest.
The competition for candidate selection for position of director of CNA was announced by parliamentary commission of appointments and immunities on 27 June 2019. The position became vacant 01 month ago after Bogdan Zumbreanu was dismissed by Parliament.
