Members of Commission for Awarding of National Prize of Moldova promote 33 candidates

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - The second meeting of the Commission for the Awarding the National Prize, chaired by the deputy head of the Commission, Education, Culture and Research Minister Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, took place today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
At the meeting, the commission members considered the recommendation letters of the candidates at the contest, submitted in the term established and ruled to set up groups of experts according to sectors.
Thus, 33 candidates were promoted to the next stage of the contest. They must submit the files to the secretariat of the Commission for the Awarding the National Prize till 26 July 2019, with the observance of the provisions of the Regulation on the National Prize.
The National Prize consists of diploma, medal and money reward worth 100,000 lei. The government annually awards up to ten national prizes, within events dedicated to the Independence Day.
