Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/- MPs of the PDM faction announced today they will submit several complaints and notifications to the General Prosecutor's Office, both on facts regarding the usurpation of power by the current government regime, including between June 8 and 15, and as regards illegalities, abuse and over-power.
PDM MP Pavel Filip said “the case on so-called usurpation of state power, recently filed by the General Prosecutor's Office, is a process of fraud in the local elections in the autumn”.
Democrats also noted that the current government needs this file to distract citizens from their real problems, such as: wages, pensions, prices, tariffs, roads.
Acting prosecutor Dumitru Robu ordered the initiation of a criminal case on usurpation of state power on 7-14 June by the former government of Moldova.
The procedure was initiated on the basis of a complaint filed by Interior Minister Andrei Năstase.
