MP Reghina Apostolova under judicial supervision

Chisinau, 20 September /MOLDPRES/- Ciocana district court decided on 19 September to set MP Reghina Apostolova under judicial supervision, after three days ago her parliamentary immunity has been lifted.
Anti-corruption prosecutors asked 30 days of house arrest for Reghina Apostolova, but the judges rejected the request. The MP was not present at the court, as was in the hospital.
MPs of the Shor Party Marina Tauber and Reghina Apostolova lost parliamentary immunity on 16 September, after acting prosecutor Dumitru Robu announced that "there is evidence pointing out the suspicion that they were involved in bank fraud.” Shortly after lifting the immunity, Marina Tauber and Reghina Apostolova were detained in Orhei and escorted to the headquarters of the National Anticorruption Center.
