Chisinau, 30 October /MOLDPRES/- About 330 thousand pupils from over 1,200 schools in Moldova will participate in a special lesson on educational and development opportunities for young people, offered through various programs funded by the European Union.

The lesson is addressed to pupils who are studying in the high schools and is part of the civic education and development hours for the society. A methodological guide will be used as a teaching support, which includes information about the European Union, its values and principles and European programs for young people.

One of the institutions that has hosted the special lesson is Mihai Eminescu high school from Anenii Noi. The teachers opted for an interactive approach, and the pupils gave short presentations on EU youth programs.

The special lesson is the second component of the national information campaign - EU-Moldova: Together stronger, create new opportunities for young people, held on 19 September - 30 November by the Delegation of the European Union in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova.

The campaign in Moldova is part of a regional campaign with the same title, carried out by the EU4Youth Project within the EU Neighbors East Program simultaneously in all Eastern Partnership countries.
