Thin ice warning remain in force in Moldova till 13 December

Chisinau, 10 December /MOLDPRES/ – The Hydrological Centre (CH) of the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has extended until Friday, 13 December, the warning of danger presented by ice formations, created in the aquatic basins, resulting from night frost.
According to hydrologists' info, "on some sectors of the small rivers and watercourses of Moldova, it will be maintained the ice formations – on the shore and in the mud, and will be kept ice bridge on some aquatic basins."
The ice is thin, and it is dangerous getting on it, but in this context the rescuers warn the population to be careful about the aquatic sources.
Over upcoming few days, meteorologists forecast average country – wide peaks at night, up to – 03ºC of frost. During the daytime, the mercury of the thermometres will rise up to +05ºC – +08ºC.
