Third anniversary of Moldovan president's swearing in office marked today

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon has made the following statement on the third anniversary of his swearing in the office of Moldova’s head of state:    

„This has been a period with more trials, both for the country and for me personally, as I worked in a quite difficult, even hostile political environment. I worked, as president, in parallel with a regime which was imposing its dictatorship on all institutions of the state and was willing to subordinate at any price the Presidency too.

Yet, I resisted and was victorious in that confrontation, very dangerous and full of risks, and once the political climate in the country cardinally changed in last June, the opening of new opportunities for Moldova’s further development was possible.    

In the upcoming year, I will continue everything which I started in the previous years more actively, more intensely, more efficiently, as Moldova has Future, despite anything and anyone.”
