Moldovan beneficiaries to be able to take one-off 700-lei support starting from first days of New Year

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ - Beneficiaries will be able to take the one-off financial support worth 700 lei starting from 2 January 2020. According to estimations, the money will be provided to more than 590,000 people. The National Social Insurances House (CNAS) made statements to this effect today.

The financial aid is offered to the beneficiaries of all types of pensions, the quantum of which does not exceed 2,000 lei monthly, as well as of state allocations established till 1 January 2020.

As much as 418 million lei was provided for in the 2020 state budget for the assistance.

The payment of the one-off financial support of 700 lei will be carried out by CNAS through providers of payment services, which ensure the payment of pensions and social benefits.

The money which is not taken by the beneficiaries will be monthly returned to the providers of payment services on the CNAS account and will be subsequently transferred for payment in the next months. The sums of the one-off financial support will be paid to beneficiaries till the end of 2020.
