Moldovan parliament speaker, ambassador of Poland discuss extending bilateral cooperation

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Zinaida Grecianii today met Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Poland to Moldova Bartłomiej Zdaniuk, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
The officials discussed the present Moldovan-Polish cooperation relations and opportunities to extend them. The sides stressed the importance to boost the work of the parliamentary friendship groups and of the Parliamentary Assembly of Moldova and Poland.
In the person of the ambassador, Zinaida Grecianii thanked Poland for the constant support provided to Moldova in the bilateral relations and within the European institutions.
The interlocutors highlighted the backing of the Polish Diaspora from Moldova and welcomed the preservation and development of the authentic culture and traditions in the compact communities of Poles from Moldova.
At the same time, the speaker emphasized interest in the fostering of the Moldovan-Polish collaboration through turning to good account of the commercial and economic potential, including the increasing of the volume of Moldovan goods supplied to the market of Poland.
Bartłomiej Zdaniuk expressed his country’s full openness to share the experience in the implementation of projects on economic and agro-industrial development, development of infrastructure, strengthening the local autonomy, etc.
In the end, the officials wished each other happy winter holidays and shared interest in the successful cooperation in 2020, as well as in the further development of very good relations between the nations of Moldova and Poland.
