Moldovan authorities, entrepreneurs to boost dialogue

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today summoned a meeting on the development of the sector of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Attending the event were the director of the Organization for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector Development, Iulia Costin, the state secretary at the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry, Iuliana Dragalin and a business trainer, Alexandru Bordea, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Alexandru Bordea said that he had trained more than 15,000 people, most of them entrepreneurs. In the context, he referred to the experience of communication and cooperation with business people and the problems faced by entrepreneurs in the process of registration, development, as well as of closing the business. Most owners of small and medium-sized enterprises said they had a difficult communication with the authorities.
The participants in the meeting stressed the need to identify solutions able to simplify the processes of creation, management and closing a business.
Prime Minister Ion Chicu confirmed the need to update the legal framework and boost the dialogue between the authorities and entrepreneurs. “We must join efforts and undertake complex actions – of coercing those who carry out illegal activities and encouraging the ones who want to work based on the law.”
