Police district from north-western Moldova town renovated

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ - The police district No 1 from the north-western Falesti town, which serves 13 settlements of the Falesti district, has been renovated and arranged, according to European standards. The reconstructed building was opened at a festive event earlier this week.

Attending the event, the state secretary at the Interior Ministry (MAI), Mariana Grama, said that “the policemen from Falesti will work in friendlier working conditions, in line with the international requirements and good practices in the field, thus ensuring to all citizens free and transparent access to qualitative police services.”

Twelve policemen will work at the Police District No 1 from Falesti.

This is the 15th renovated and modernized district within the Police Development Strategy for 2016-2020, oriented to the activity of the community police.

As much as 1.4 million lei, provided by the European Union, was invested for the police district’s renovation.
