U.S. dollar cheapens against Moldovan leu

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ – At the weekend, U.S. dollar (USD) cheapens against Moldovan leu (MDL), according to the official exchange rates displayed by the National Bank of Moldova (BNM).

Thus, USD costs in upcoming 03 days MDL 17.28 for $1, by MDL 0.01 less than today. The other reference currencies retain their value of today. Specifically, European single currency (EUR) has the similar value of today of MDL 19.15 for €1. The cost of Romanian leu (RON) remains at the quotation of MDL 04.00 for L1.

The same trend preserves the values of Russian rouble (RUB) and Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH), which cost this weekend, as well as today, MDL 0.27 for ₽1 and MDL 0.74 for ₴1, respectively.
