Moldovan Health Insurances Company launches interactive map of providers of medical, pharmaceutical services

Chisinau, 26 December /MOLDPRES/ - The National Health Insurances Company (CNAM) today launched an interactive map of contracted providers of medical and pharmaceutical services.

The application was created, in order to enhance the degree of transparency and access to the information on the medical and pharmaceutical institutions involved in the mandatory health insurance system.

According to CNAM, the map is divided into administrative and territorial units and the citizens will be able to access each district or municipality, in order to see the list of contracted institutions, as well as to look for a certain supplier. The map also contains information on the name of providers, address, phone numbers, types of medical assistance provided by suppliers of medical services.

The interactive map can be accessed through the link: http://map.cnam.md/.

CNAM contracts providers of medical and pharmaceutical services, in order to ensure a fair access to all types of medical assistance, including compensated medicines, according to the single programme of mandatory health insurance. In 2019, the company contracted 452 medical institutions and 228 drug stores.
