Budget employees to get annual reward in amount of 50 per cent of earnings in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 December /MOLDPRES/ – The employees from budgetary units will receive an annual award in the amount of half of their salary for results of activity of previous year. The new amendments in legislation were published, on Friday, in the Official Journal (MO) and enters into force on 01 January 2020.

The document also provides monthly increases of up to MDL 1,100 for holders of scientific and scientific – didactic titles. The distinguished persons with honorary titles will have a monthly increase of up to MDL 250.

Also, it was also published in MO the law providing for doubling of the state social allowance for persons with disabilities, from 40 per cent to 80 per cent of the minimum pension. The same law establishes increase of amount of social allowance for elderly persons who do not have a contribution period of at least 15 years, from 20 per cent to 50 per cent of the size of the minimum pension for old age. The changes also take effect on 01 January 2020.
