Some categories of people to be able to benefit from cuts in purchasing medical insurance policy in Moldova

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/ - Some categories of people also in 2020  will be able to benefit from cuts up to 75 per cent when buying the medical insurance policy, the value of which will remain unchanged – 4,056 lei. The cuts will be valid till 31 March 2020. The beneficiaries can already buy the policy starting from this week.   

Thus, the owners of farmlands benefit from 75-per cent cuts and pay 1,014 lei for the medical insurance policy. The private people who carry out independent activity in the retail trade sector, excepting the commerce with goods subjected to excise duties, benefit from 60-per cent cuts and will pay 1,622.40 lei.  

At the same time, the founders of individual enterprises, licence holders, lessees,  leasers, other citizens who are not employed and are not insured by the government, the foreign citizens with right of provisional stay in Moldova will pay 2,028 lei, which accounts for 50 per cent of the medical insurance premium.    

The mediators, notaries, lawyers, bailiffs, judicial experts, interpreters, translators and authorized managers, unemployed people who independently exercise the profession of family physician will pay the premium in its full size – 4,056 lei.      

According to the National Health Insurances Company, the payment of the mandatory health insurance premium with 50-per cent cuts can be made at desks of post offices, commercial banks or through the MPay governmental service of electronic payments.
