Moldovan finance minister says budgetary commitments carried out fully, on term at closing of 2019 budget year

Chisinau, 31 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Finance Ministry has informed about the closing of the 2019 budget year.
Deputy Prime Minister Serghei Puscuta said that, on 30 December 2019, in strict accordance with the law on public money and budgetary and fiscal responsibility No 181/2014, the last collections and payments to/from the budget had been carried out and all payment documents, presented by the budget authorities and institutions to the treasury, had been fully financed.
Thus, according to the situation from 31 December 2019, no bills unpaid from the state budget have remained, a press release of the Finance Ministry reads.
„It is quite important that we enter the 2020 year without debts. It is sure that, next year, we will provide rhythmical financing of all budget payments, with the social and salary ones being priority,” Puscuta noted.
Also, the deputy prime minister, finance minister said that all domestic legal procedures of closing the 2019 budget exercise had been made on 31 December 2019.
