More than 1,000 Moldovan civil servants to benefit from professional training courses in 2020

Chisinau, 15 January /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,060 civil servants, of whom 750 central public authorities’ employees and 310 ones of the local authorities, in 2020 will benefit from professional training courses. The courses will be provided at the Academy of Public Administration (AAP), will cost 1,031.2 thousand lei and represent a state order.  

Under the document approved by the cabinet today, 13 training courses will be delivered to 44 groups of civil servants, of which 30 ones will be made up of employees of the central public authorities.  

The schedule of training civil servants for the years 2016-2020 sees the following training courses: leadership in the public administration, organizational management, working out and assessing the public policies, strategic and operational planning, conflicts’ management and stress management; professional integration in the public office; ethic and integrity of the civil servant; elaboration and coordination of policies.

Also, at a demand by the public authorities, programmes on the recruiting and selection of staff were included for the members of the contest commissions. Besides the teaching staff of AAP, specialists of the public authorities are to be involved in the elaboration and carrying out of the training courses. Thus, the normative framework will fit the practical needs and the relevance of the subjects.
