Report on audit carried out by Moldovan top court at state enterprise Bus Stations and Terminals to be published in Official Journal

Chisinau, 16 January /MOLDPRES/ - The decision on the report on the audit of the conformity of the carrying out of the public-private partnership related to the modernization and optimizing the activity of the subsidiaries of the state enterprise Gările și stațiile auto (Bus Stations and Terminals) will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova (Monitorul Oficial) on 17 January.   

The document by the Court of Accounts (CCRM) reads that the audit held showed that the aforementioned public-private partnership had been carried out without strict observance of the fundamental principles applied in the field of the public-private partnership, in line with the legislative and normative framework in force. As a result, a financial crisis started at the state enterprise Gările și stațiile auto, which can trigger the insolvency of the enterprise in the future management periods. At the same time, a high risk persists of failing to achieve the relevant goals of the public-private partnership, caused by the low-level fulfillment of the investment obligations by the private partner.     

The audit report will be submitted to the government and parliament of Moldova, for informing and taking attitude.
