IMF mission to pay visit to Moldova

Chisinau, 17 January /MOLDPRES/ - The head of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) mission for Moldova, Ruben Atoyan, will be on visit to Chisinau on 22 January – 5 February.
According to a press release by IMF Moldova, the delegation of the financial institution will hold discussions with the Moldovan authorities on economic and financial policies, in order to prepare a new financial support programme.
The IMF will take into account the last economic development indexes and the progress made by the authorities in the implementation of assistance programmes. At the same time, the sides will review the macroeconomic indicators and will consider the medium-term challenges, in order to make an analysis of the economic risks faced by Moldova.
