Moldovan speaker - diversity of cultures, traditions, customs helps preserve identity

Chisinau, 22 January /MOLDPRES/-  "Moldova has embraced a great diversity of cultures, traditions and customs. It is an alloy that gives us the power to resist in a world of globalization and to preserve our identity ”, Speaker Zinaida Greceanii said. The speaker was invited to the events dedicated to Midwives Day, which is celebrated on 21 January by Gagauz and Bulgarians, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

They were held in Vulcanesti, Gagauz autonomy, and in Tvardița village, Taraclia district, where most people are Bulgarians. The events brought together hundreds of women from different sectors - teachers, educators, doctors, civil servants. First of all, the ladies in the obstetric medicine who enjoy special respect from the communities were honored.
