Moldovan president hands state distinctions

Chisinau, 5 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today handed high state distinctions, under decrees signed in the last months, at an official ceremony held at the Presidency, the presidential press service has reported.

Today, orders and medals were awarded to ordinary citizens who had worked in various sectors and, during years, distinguished themselves through long and prodigious work; farmers who contributed to the development of the social and economic infrastructure; teachers who carried out a huge work to educate more generations; physicians who made considerable progress in their professional activity; performance sportspeople who brought the fame of Moldova abroad; artists, actors and other categories of citizens, who proved high professional mastership and represented the country with dignity all over the world.

The Moldovan president sincerely thanked everybody for the huge work and patience proved day by day, for activity, professional dedication and living example. The head of state stressed that the presidential institution would make efforts and provide needed support in continuation too.
