Moldovan lawmakers discuss possibilities of cooperating with Armenia in IT sector

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/ - New possibilities of Moldovan-Armenian cooperation in the information technologies (IT) sector, especially dedicated to young people, today were discussed during a visit to the Tumo Centre for Creative Technologies from Yerevan of the Moldovan parliament’s delegation led by Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.      

The delegation members showed interest in the education experience, at the intersection between technologies and creation, as the centre provides to those almost 15,000 teenagers, who daily attend it, possibilities and knowledge helping them turn to good account their potential and gifts. The goal of this institution is to train competitive specialists for the labour market and, respectively, the state’s economic development.   

Zinaida Greceanii said that Moldova also had reached certain performances in the development of the information technologies and their promotion among teenagers. The speaker proposed to start cooperation between the Tumo Centre of Armenia and the Tekwill Centre of Excellence in the Information Technologies and Communications Sector from Moldova.  

Moldova’s parliamentary delegation on these days pays an official visit to Armenia, at an invitation of President of the National Assembly (parliament) of this country Ararat Mirzoyan.
