Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - The restrictions imposed by the state because of the pandemic triggered by COVID-19 will last till 28 April at the earliest. President Igor Dodon made statements to this effect after a meeting of the Supreme Security Council (CSS) today.
„There will be no relaxations till 28 April and afterwards it depends on the evolution of the situation with the pandemic. It is dangerous to lift the restrictions until after the Easter of the Departed (27 April). We understand that this hits the economic activity; yet, if we make wrong steps now, the economic costs will be higher. We hope that this situation will yield the result expected and there is result already,’’ Igor Dodon said.
State of emergency was declared in Moldova till 15 May 2020, given the COVID-19 pandemic. The same situation is recorded in more states.
