Moldova's diplomacy head thanks Bulgarian counterpart for assistance provided for Moldovans' repatriation

Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Oleg Tulea today had a phone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister of Bulgaria Ekaterina Zakharieva, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
In the context of the efforts backed by MAEIE to provide assistance to Moldova’s citizens at risk outside the country, because of the pandemic, Minister Oleg Tulea thanked for the good cooperation and assistance provided by the Bulgarian authorities to Moldovan citizens from Bulgaria, especially to facilitate their return home.
Highlighting the privileged character of the bilateral relations between the two states, proved in the bilateral cooperation, the ministers expressed the two sides’ full openness for the development of the high-level political dialogue, including by making visits of officials from the two countries, after the epidemiological situation is settled. At the same time, Minister Oleg Tulea voiced appreciation for the continuation of the assistance project of Bulgaria’s Foreign Affairs Ministry through providing computers to schools from Moldova’s Taraclia district.
The Bulgarian official congratulated Minister Tulea on the appointment to office, stressing willingness to diversify and strengthen the bilateral cooperation.
