Chisinau, 10 April /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Ion Chicu today had online meeting of the Commission for Emergencies, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

CSE members approached the need to pay unemployment benefits to persons who have lost work as a result of the restrictions imposed by the epidemiological situation.

Moldovan citizens coming from abroad due to the spread of the epidemic in over 200 countries of the world can benefit from allowances.

The government has assumed responsibility before parliament for amending some laws on entrepreneurship and social measures to support people during the state of emergency.

Chicu went to parliament to present the draft, but the meeting did not meet the required number of MPs and, in accordance with Parliament's Rules, the Speaker closed the meeting. A group of MPs challenged the draft law at the Constitutional Court, which decided to suspend the project on the government's responsibility before the parliament.

The CSE adopted a number of decisions valid only during the state of emergency, not to stop getting applications for benefits and support of economic environment.
