Moldovan policemen document over 1,721 contraventions on state of emergency period

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ - Law-enforcers have documented 1,721 contraventions since the beginning of the emergency state and the sum of fines imposed exceeds 36 million lei. Thus, they sanctioned 64 economic agents, 32 passenger carriers, 1,625 private people and 26 priests, who did not observe the measures on the period of the pandemic.
According to data by the Interior Ministry, policemen monitor in continuation the observance of the measures of the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), in order to prevent the spread of the new-type virus.
Starting from 27 April, the walking in parks and sport in open air have no longer been restriction, yet, only on condition that citizens gather in groups not larger than 3 persons, keep the social distance and take into account the protection measures.
The playgrounds, leisure zones and the sports fields remain closed and the organization of big events, parties and other types of actions which imply groups of people are strictly banned.
Presently, quarantine regime is maintained in the Soroca city, Stefan Voda town, Talmaza village, Glodeni town, Etulia and Cismichioi villages from the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, Valea Perjei village, Taraclia district and the Branzeni village, Edinet district.
Statistics shows that 76 Interior Ministry employees from various subdivisions have been infected with COVID-19 and 36 ones were treated.
