Foreign affaiers ministry's specification on Moldovan citizens at Polish-Ukrainian border

Chisinau, 28 April /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), informs about the following, with reference to the Moldovan citizens blocked at the Polish-Ukrainian border and those who want to return from Poland to Moldova:
At a proposal by MAEIE, the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE) took decision to make a charter flight to Warsaw on the next days, for the repatriation of Moldovan citizens.
Today, two buses with CSE’s authorization, will go to the Poland’s border with Ukraine, to take over the Moldovan citizens and bring them to Moldova in safety. In the context, the embassies of Moldova in Warsaw and Kiev have instructed the measures necessary in the relation with the authorities of the two countries, for the transiting and creating a sanitary corridor to Moldova, with the observance of the needed epidemiological norms.
Taking into account the measures adopted at the level of the states which hit the air and land traffic, MAEIE reiterates the need for Moldovan citizens to be informed on the webpages of the National Motor Transport Agency and Civil Aviation Authority of Moldova, in order to verify whether the flights set for carrying out the transportation were approved by the Commission for Emergency Situations. At the same time, MAEIE stresses that any travel abroad in the present context should be attentively assessed, from the viewpoint of the risks triggered by the measures adopted by the transit and destination countries.
