Romania approves humanitarian assistance worth 16.5 million Romanian lei for Moldova

Chisinau, 1 May /MOLDPRES/ - The government of Romania, at a 30 April meeting, approved the providing of a humanitarian assistance for Moldova worth 16.5 million Romanian lei, in form of sanitary materials needed to cope with the efforts of limiting the spread of the coronavirus infection, according to the AGERPRES News Agency.
"At a today’s cabinet meeting, a government decision was adopted, just as the Orban Cabinet has promised, on humanitarian assistance for Moldova, for our brothers from Bessarabia, in order to cope with the crisis of the spread of the coronavirus infections in the neighbour country, respectively a humanitarian aid worth 16.5 million lei, in form of sanitary materials necessary to cope with the efforts of limiting the spread of the coronavirus infections,’’ Head of the Chancellery of the Romanian PM Ionel Danca said at a news conference held at the Victoria Palace.
The draft decision was introduced on the additional agenda of a 30 April meeting of the Romanian government.
