Moldovan president has meeting with heads of biggest foreign investment companies, chambers of commerce

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon, in the continuation of his working meetings with representatives of various branches of the national economy, today discussed with the heads of the biggest foreign investment companies and chambers of commerce accredited in Moldova, the presidential press service has reported.
Attending the event were the heads or the authorized representatives of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from France, European Business Association and Foreign Investors’ Association.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues on the attraction and protection of foreign investments, fiscal and budgetary policy of Moldova, prospects for the re-launch of the national economy, including exports, after the emergency state regime is over, etc.
The participants in the discussion had an open, constructive dialogue, during which proposals and wishes were set forth, in order to improve the macroeconomic situation. The head of state stressed the fact that, in the near future, the Moldovan leadership would launch a package of legislative initiatives for backing the economy and the residents.
In the end of the meeting, an excursion was organized for the guests in the presidential palace, where they visited the Big Hall, where the meetings of the first Moldova’s parliament were held, presidential library and other rooms.
