Information platform facilitating investments, international trade approved in Moldova

Chisinau, 8 May /MOLDPRES/ - The concept of a new information platform due to facilitate investments and the international trade was approved at a today’s videoconference with the participation of Economics and Infrastructure Minister Sergiu Railean, representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Investments Agency. The platform is scheduled to be launched in next autumn.  

The information platform, Customer Relationship Management, is worked out by the Economics and Infrastructure Ministry (MEI), Investments Agency, in cooperation with the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE), with the support of GIZ.

„By this platform, we are set to facilitate the process of communication and management of the interaction with the current and potential investors, starting the moment of initiating the negotiations till the one of the investment itself, as well as the post-investment stage. Thus, we hope to speed up the connection between local and foreign companies for establishing as many as possible business partnerships,’’ Sergiu Railean said.

According to the GIZ representatives, the system provides the automation and monitoring of the entire process of interaction with an investor, history of the relations with companies, use of all data for the management of investment opportunities (stages of investments, recommendations, partners, time and sums estimated, etc.).

"The system will be able to be used by diplomats, economic attaches, specialists from public institutions in the sector, etc.,’’ MEI sources said.
