Markets' work to be allowed in Moldova as of 11 May

Chisinau, 9 May /MOLDPRES/ - The markets’ work will be allowed starting from 11 May, except for the ones placed in Chisinau and Balti. Under an 8 May Instruction by the National Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), the markets will resume working, with the compulsory ensuring by the managers/traders/buyers of the norms for reducing the spread of the COVID-19 infection.
Thus, the markets will work only on condition of observance of the social distance; observance of the distance between the commerce places of at least two metres; monitoring of the health condition of the traders and employees.
Also, the staff employed will be endowed with protection equipment and the markets’ area will be supplied with disinfectant at the entrance. ‘’The processing of surfaces with disinfectants and ensuring the regime of wet cleaning at least three times per day is compulsory’’, reads the CSE Instruction.
On the emergency state period (17 March – 15 May 2020), the instructions of the Commissions for Emergency Situations are compulsory and executory for the leaders of the central and local public administration authorities, of economic agents, public institutions, as well as for the citizens and other people staying in Moldova.
