Two panels of specialized judges to consider cases on theft of billion

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/- The cases on "theft of billion" will be examined by two panels of specialized judges. The decision was taken at the initiative of Prosecutor General Alexandr Stoianoglo.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, the specialized panels will examine economic crimes, corruption and those related to acts of corruption - crimes committed to the detriment of the banking system of the Republic of Moldova, including those committed in direct connection with them.

The panel will consist of six judges, the provisions of the provision being implemented starting with 27 November 2020. The cases which examination began in a panel formed prior to the issuance of this provision will continue in the same panel.
