As many as 347 cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,074 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 347 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which nine import ones. As many as 107,364 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 26 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 10, medical assistants – 15, auxiliary staff employees – 1.

A number of 3,788 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 303 are in extremely serious condition (46 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).

In the context, 5,572 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 28,910 are under supervision at the domicile.

Another 768 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 95,354 people were treated of COVID-19.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 14 deaths triggered by COVID-19, with 2,304 people dead because of the virus till present. Among the dead people, there is also a family physician from the central Ialoveni town. Fifty six medical employees have died because of the COVID-19 infection till present.
