Moldovan diplomacy head has meeting with Ambassador of Bulgaria

Chisinau, 30 November /MOLDPRES/ - Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Aureliu Ciocoi today received Ambassador of Bulgaria to Moldova Evgueni Stefanov Stoytchev. The two officials referred to the bilateral dialogue and the agenda of cooperation within regional organizations, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
The sides discussed practical aspects on the strengthening of the bilateral cooperation. In the context, Minister Ciocoi reiterated the MAEIE’s openness for boosting the political and diplomatic relations in the spirit of the friendship and good-neighbour relations between Moldova and Bulgaria.
The officials highlighted the importance of development of the regional dialogue, against the background of the pandemic crisis, in particular, within the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC). The Bulgarian ambassador presented the candidacy of his country for the office of secretary general of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat for the period 2021-2024.
