Moldova participates in tourist event in China

Chisinau, 16 June /MOLDPRES/ - Seven tourism enterprises from Moldova for the first time ever joined the practical tourism on the European market at the event titled, China European Marketplace, held in last May. The online workshop was organized by the Association of the Tourism Industry Employers of Moldova (APIT), with the support of the Investments Agency and the European Tourism Association (ETOA), with the participation of about 70 tourism operators and buyers from China.
The workshop’s goal is to present the tourist potential of the key tourism operators from Moldova and buyers of travels from China, in order to be better positioned where there is fit moment to again receive Chinese visitors and other international tourists just as of 2021.
“Our message is that, when there the fit moment, we have everything prepared for meeting Chinese visitors on the native land. We will make sure for them that the tourism companies from Moldova implemented all new measures of health safety necessary – and will further be ready to provide clients with a fantastic experience of vacation,’’ APIT head Sergiu Manea said.
For her part, the representative of the World Travel Online, China, Julia Huang, stressed the importance of the participation in ETOA events. ‘’The format of the virtual one-to-one meetings gives our partners opportunity to present Moldova to important Chinese tourism operators and buyers of travels,’’ Julia Huang said.
ETOA is the only tourism association of Europe which represents the interests of the industry of the European Parliament. The Associations brings together over 1,200 companies and pays special attention to the active development of tourism. The Association of the Tourism Industry Employers of Moldova became full-fledged member of the European Tourism Association in London in May 2020. The APIT members have access to the database from over 63 countries and markets.
