Chisinau, 25 August /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s citizens will be able to receive at the place of residence acts and other documents demanded from state institutions, through a delivery governmental service (MDelivery), due to be developed based on a concept approved by the cabinet today, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
Deputy Prime Minister for Digitalization Iurie Turcanu said that the draft’s goal was to provide to the authorities, public institutions and providers of public services an efficient, reliable and modern solution, which is to be used as single mechanism of physical delivery of the results of public services to beneficiaries.
The MDelivery information platform will be developed through the connection of three subjects: provider of public service, as expeditor, beneficiary of public service, as recipient of the delivery and the provider of postal services. This platform will diminish the costs for all the three sides involved and will optimize the process of delivery of the result of the public service to the beneficiary.
Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita asked the competent institutions to ensure the development of this service as soon as possible, in order to give Moldova’s citizens, including those from Diaspora, possibility to receive the results of public services (acts, certificates, etc.) at the place of their stay, through the new delivery governmental service.
„This Concept is important especially for the Diaspora citizens, who will be able to benefit from the delivery of public services without moving to large distances, in order to come to embassies,’’ Natalia Gavrilita said.
The development and maintaining the functionality of the delivery governmental service (MDelivery) for the first year of implementation (2021) will be made with means of the Modernization of governmental services project.
The annual costs for the administration of the MDelivery service are estimated at about 400,000 lei and will be covered from the state budget, through centralized financing of the Electronic Governance Service Public Institution for 2022.
