Chisinau, 30 September /MOLDPRES/- On 23 August-23 September 2021, no case of resignation of teachers has been confirmed as a result of the decisions of the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health (CNESP).
Ministry of Education and Research made the statement after verifying the data presented by the Trade Union Federation of Education and Science which reports about 32 cases of resignation of employees in the education system in four districts: Hâncești, Glodeni , Causeni and Stefan Voda.
Following the receipt from the Federation of Trade Unions of Education and Science of statistical data on resignations, in order to examine the real situation, the ministry requested local specialized bodies in education to submit information on cases in which requests for resignation of teachers had been requested, regardless of the reason.
At the same time, the Ministry of Education and Research expresses regret for misinformation that appeared in the public space and still relies on a fair, constructive dialogue with the unions, in the interest of the entire educational community.
The August CNESP decision sees “until the recommended vaccination level of 95% is reached, the unvaccinated teaching, non-teaching and auxiliary staff will perform on their own once every 14 days COVID test (AgSarsC-oV-2 quick test or COVID-19 PCR test). Exceptions to this rule will be those who present the vaccination certificate against COVID-19 or the medical conclusion confirming that the person has undergone COVID-19, in the period between the 15th and the 180th day (6 months) or a confirmation of the presence of COVID-19 antibodies. The confirmation of the presence of COVID-19 antibodies is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of the investigation ”.
