Romania canceled quarantine for truck, bus drivers from Moldova

Chisinau, 18 Dec. / MOLDPRES /- Truck, minibus and bus drivers from the Republic of Moldova, who go to Romania, will no longer be in quarantine. The decision was approved yesterday at a meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations (CNSU) in Romania, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
Thus, the members of CNSU decided to exempt from the quarantine measure the drivers of vehicles with a maximum authorized capacity of more than 2.4 tons, which carry goods. Also exempt from quarantine will be drivers with more than 9 seats, which provide transport for people if they present the vaccination certificate, test or the document confirming the passage through the disease.
This decision, which enters into force on December 19, contributes to the streamlining of cross-border traffic.
