As many as 4,348 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 Februarty /MOLDPRES/- A number of 13,988 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 4,348 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 24 out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 445,046 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 210 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (57 physicians, 81 medical assistants, 72 auxiliary staff employees).

As many as 3,290 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 241 are in extremely serious condition and 35 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.

In the context, 25,299 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 25,697 are under supervision at home.

Another 2,052 people have been treated. As many as 384,750 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 24 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 10,666 people have died of coronavirus in all.
