ANSP specialists registered 10 cases of flu last week

Chisinau, 8 Apri; /MOLDPRES/- Over the past week, the National Agency for Public Health / ANSP / has registered 10 cases of seasonal flu, five in the capital, three in Taraclia and one each in Soroca and Orhei.

On 28 March -3 April the morbidity due to acute upper respiratory tract infections was at a low intensity level, with a decrease of 9.2% compared to the previous week.

Half of the confirmed cases of influenza were reported in children up to 4 years of age.

In the ANSP laboratories, 46 samples were investigated for the presence of influenza, non-influenza and SARS-CoV-2 viruses, in one sample the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus was confirmed and in two samples the presence of influenza virus (AH3N2–1 and AH1N1). -1).
