Moldovan ambassador presents credentials to Latvian president

Chisinau, 17 December /MOLPRES/- Moldovan Ambassador to Latvia Eugeniu Revenco presented the letter of accreditation, as well as the letter of recall of his predecessor, to Latvian President Raimonds Vējonis, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication service has reported.
The accreditation ceremony was held at the president’s Blackheads’ House residence, marking the beginning of Revenco’s official activity as an ambassador to Latvia.
Following the presentation of credentials, the sides discussed the good development of bilateral ties, dynamics and evolution of economic relations, internal political context, as well as the importance of regional cooperation. The Latvian president reiterated Latvia’s support for Moldova’s efforts to implement the EU agenda and other necessary reforms.
The Moldovan ambassador held a meeting with Latvian Speaker Ināra Mūrniece as well. The officials discussed the mutual interest in boosting up parliamentary ties and intensifying educational, inter-parliamentary and economic cooperation.
