Prices for one hundred eighty medicines decrease by twelve per cent in July in Moldova

Chisinau, 28 August /MOLDPRES/ – The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) announced today that it registered about 240 names of medicines in July. The prices for 180 of them were reduced on average by 12 per cent.
According to the AMDM’s information, also in July, the prices of seven generic medicines were reevaluated following the price registration for original medicines. Approximately 42 per cent of the pharmaceutical products, approved in July with new producer prices, are imported from the CIS and over 38 per cent from the European Union.
At present, almost 4,200 producer prices are recorded in the National Producer Price List of Medicines (CNPPM).
