Companies from Fujairah Emirates interested in setting partnerships with free economic zones from Moldova

Chisinau, 27 March /MOLDPRES/ - The establishment of partnerships on cooperation between free economic zones of Moldova and the Fujairah Emirate, as well as the initiation of investment projects with the participation of the business environment from both countries were subjects discussed by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi and Prince of Fujairah Emirate, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s public diplomacy, strategic communication and media interaction service has reported.   

The Moldovan diplomacy head presented investment and economic opportunities provided by Moldova to foreign companies, programmes implemented by the Moldovan authorities to back the business environment, as well as the potential of Moldova’s free economic zones.  

Minister Tudor Ulianovschi encouraged companies from the Fujairah Emirate to invest in free economic zones and industrial parks from Moldova, which offer attractive conditions for starting and doing business. Ulianovschi noted that the central public authorities had recently undertaken a string of concrete actions to simplify the procedures of getting stay visas and work permits for foreign investors.  

Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi said that the participation of companies from Moldova and the United Arab Emirates in diverse international and national exhibitions, holding of business forums, exchange of experience and other joint activities would allow establishing an efficient dialogue, which would create needed pre-requisites to initiate investment projects in different economic sectors, mainly in the agro-food field, trade with services, developing infrastructure, etc.  

Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Tudor Ulianovschi is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates on 26-29 March.
