Employees of Chisinau-based polyclinic evacuated because of bomb threat

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - Employees of the polyclinic No 10 from Chisinau today were evacuated because of a bomb threat.

Contacted by MOLDPRES, the press officer of the Moldovan capital’s Police, Natalia Stati, said that, at 15:40, a person had called the police and informed that the building was mined. The person who made the call has not been identified as yet.

“Policemen and teams of engineers went on the spot. All employees of the institution were evacuated. The perimeter of the polyclinic was fenced in. At present, law-enforcers check the building,” Stati said.

Two days ago, a bomb threat was announced at the Chisinau Centru district court. The call to the police was made by a man. So far, the person has not been identified. Following verifications, the alert proved to be hoax.
