Moldovan parliament speaker says goal of policies promoted is for young people to work at home

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ - The policies promoted to simplify the procedures of launch and doing business, the social projects like the First Home, meal vouchers or the Chisinau Arena, are part of a strategy for young people to work at home and be able to ensure a decent living in Moldova.
Parliament Speaker today made statements to this effect at a public lecture with students and professors of the Moldovan Technical University (UTM), the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
According to Candu, the European Union is the model of qualitative development for Moldova. At the same time, he noted that “no government will succeed without the support of people and young persons.” Most questions regarded the First Home programme, within which the first loans are to be released on the next period already.
Students showed interest also in the Chisinau Arena project. The parliament speaker said that the state’s authorities had daily discussions on technical subjects; there is a calendar of activities and presently, decision-makers work on a tender book for the launch of the international tender on the selection of the investor. It is worth mentioning that, last week, the MPs approved the change of the purpose of the ground for construction.
In discussions on the probations provided by the parliament, Adrian Candu invited young people to join the parliament’s team to implement the e-Parliament system, which will need expertise, knowledge and energy.
The cooperation with the Romanian government represented a subject tackled by university professors. Andrian Candu here touched upon projects underway, as well as ones on modernization of kindergartens, scholarships provided to students, integration of the energy, as well as the financial and banking system, exchange of studies and labour experience.
Other topics approached by students and professors were focused on scholarships, salaries, continuous professional training, dual education, social protection for students with children, etc.
In last February, Andrian Candu gave a public lecture at the Moldovan State University.
