Moldovan government approves measures for organisation of children’s summer rest

Chisinau, 28 March /MOLDPRES/ – The Cabinet of Ministers approved at its today meeting a decision on organisation of summer rest for children and adolescents in summer season 2018, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

According to the document, Government will provide free of charge 25 per cent of total number of tickets allocated to rest camps of several categories of children and adolescents, including orphans, disadvantaged families and families with three or more children. The rest of the tickets in summer camps will be sold with a discount of 80 per cent of the total ticket price. The indicative cost per day for recreation camps financed from the state budget varies from MDL 137 – MDL 209.

Similarly, Ministry of Education, Culture and Research (MECC) will cover expenses for participation of 100 pupils from Romania in camps in Moldova and for visiting tourist destinations and localities. The MECC will also purchase 300 tickets for students from educational institutions in eastern districts of Moldova and Bender city.

By 18 May 2018, authorities in charge are due to complete preparation of rest camps for children and adolescents, including the ones with day stays, providing them with necessary inventory and equipment.
