Moldovan MPs hold minute of silence in memory of victims of Russian fire

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/- MPs today held a minute of silence in memory of people who lost their lives in the devastating fire at the Kemerovo shopping centre, resulting in 64 dead, including 41 children.
Yesterday Russia declared national mourning after the fire at the shopping centre. Residents of Kemerovo and Russian President Vladimir Putin laid flowers in memory of the victims near the “Zimniaia Visnia” shopping centre.
The Kemerovo region declared three days of mourning starting from Tuesday.
The fire started around 11:00 am on Sunday at the third and final floor of this mall located in the centre of Kemerovo.
The Russian authorities have denounced violations of the security rules after Sunday’s fire, one of the worst in Russia in recent years.
