United Arab Emirates interested in expanding bilateral relations with Moldova on all dimensions

Chisinau, 29 March /MOLDPRES/ – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, discussed in Abu Dhabi with Emirate Minister of Economy, Sultan Bin Saeed al Mansoori, the opportunities for economic cooperation and intensification of trade between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates, the MAEIE’s public relations, strategic communication and interaction department has reported.

The Emir Minister appreciated the intensification of bilateral relations between Moldova and UAE over recent period of time on all dimensions, underlining that decision of Moldovan Government to open a diplomatic mission in the United Arab Emirates would contribute essentially to expansion of political, commercial, economic, cultural relations and some other kind between both states.

Minister Tudor Ulianovschi said that Moldova has been interested in expanding bilateral relations with UAE, attracting Emirian investments into national economy, launching joint projects in various socio – economic areas.

In the context, two officials referred upon topic of Moldovan – Emirates Economic Forum, which is scheduled to be held on 09 – 10 May 2018 in Dubai. In the opinion of the two ministers, forum will be a fundamental event for expanding and encouraging economic cooperation, investment, entrepreneurship and bilateral trade. Tudor Ulianovschi and Sultan Bin Saeed al Mansoori exchanged views on issue of launching an airline flight between Moldova and UAE, surpassingly to have positive impact on development of Moldovan – Emirates relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, has paid a working visit to UAE, on 26 – 29 March, where in dialogue with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Economy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, General Manager of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, other Emirates officials discussed aspects of boosting and expanding political, economic, cultural, commercial and other relations between Moldova and UAE.
