Revenues to national public budget increased by 1.456 billion lei in first quarter compared to 2017

Chisinau, 2 April /MOLDPRES/- The State Tax Service announces that in the first quarter of this year, 8.95 billion lei was raised to the national public budget, up by 19.5 per cent than in the same period of the previous year. There are results “recorded for the first time” on the fiscal revenues. Receipts to the national public budget increased by 1.456 billion lei in the first quarter compared to 2017.
Spokeswoman of the State Tax Service Olga Baciu says that task for the first quarter was exceeded by 979.5 million lei and the four components of the National Public Budget were increasing.
The state budget received 44 billion lei in three months, up by 24.3 per cent than in the same period of 2017. The receipts to local budgets increased by 90.3 million lei, to 791.7 million lei. The state social insurance budget collected by 15.9 per cent more money than in the same period of the previous year, and the payments to compulsory health insurance funds increased by 14.5 per cent.
The tax body also notes that on 23 and 26 March, there were record receipts per day. Thus, it has collected over 1.2 billion lei in the national public budget: 23 March – 585.9 million lei, and on 26 March – 619.5 million lei.
